…says PDP Has Capacity to Rescue Ogun State, Charges Members to Mobilize at Ward Level.
The Alhaji Oluwafemi Abdulwasiu Ajirotutu Foundation has declared its full support for Hon. Abdul-Hammed Omotayo Olufemi Omo Owo and all candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, ahead of the 2027 general elections in Ogun State.
The declaration was made on Monday during a stakeholders and empowerment meeting held at the Foundation’s Secretariat in Ijari, Ijebu Ode.
The event was attended by party leaders, Foundation members, beneficiaries and well-wishers from across the 9 Local Government Areas of Ogun East Senatorial District.
Speaking at the event, the Founder and Chairman of the Foundation, Alhaji Oluwafemi Abdulwasiu Ajirotutu, described Hon. Omo Owo as “a tested leader, a man of the people, and a visionary whose track record of service and commitment to the welfare of the masses speaks for itself.”
He said the PDP remains the only party with the structure, experience and people-centered agenda to rescue Ogun State and Nigeria from current socio-economic challenges.
Cash, Relief Materials Distributed:
As part of its humanitarian mandate, the Foundation also distributed cash grants and relief materials to hundreds of beneficiaries drawn from various wards across Ogun East.
According to organizers, the relief package included food items, cash support for small business owners and welfare materials for the elderly, widows and other vulnerable groups.
Alhaji Ajirotutu said the gesture was aimed at cushioning the effect of the current economic hardship and to “put smiles on the faces of the people and ensure that no one is left behind”.

The philanthropist charged all members of the Foundation and PDP faithful to return to their wards and communities to mobilize, sensitize and register new members ahead of 2026.
“We cannot afford to sit on the fence at this critical time. This is the time for action. Go to your wards. Talk to your people. Register them. Let us work together to ensure total victory for Hon. Omo Owo and all PDP candidates”, he said.
He added, “Service to the people is service to God. Leadership is about impact, and the PDP has the capacity, the structure, and the men to deliver good governance to our people. That is why we stand firmly and solidly with Hon. Abdul-Hammed Omotayo Olufemi Omo Owo, and all our PDP candidates. Ogun East deserves better, and together we will achieve it”.
The event concluded with prayers for the success of the PDP and for peace and progress in Ogun East and Ogun State at large.
