The Yayi Worldwide Support Initiative (YWSI), a support group centered on the political aspiration of Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, popularly known as Yayi, has announced plans to take its community engagement and humanitarian outreach activities to Ilaro, Ogun State.
The initiative said the planned visit to Ilaro Palace and Ogun State General Hospital, Ilaro, is part of its efforts to connect with communities, extend goodwill and demonstrate its support for Adeola’s bid to become the next governor of Ogun State in the 2027 election.
According to the initiative’s publicity material, the Ilaro programme is designed around four key objectives: community engagement, goodwill visit, humanitarian outreach and service and impact.
YWSI described the planned exercise as a practical expression of its commitment to supporting communities while advancing the group’s Yayi-centered political advocacy ahead of the 2027 governorship contest.
The initiative operates under the theme “Together for a Greater Tomorrow”, with its service-oriented message built around “Serve, Support, Empower.”
The group is chaired by Hon. Oluwatosin Thompson, popularly known as “King Autos,” who is based in California, United States, while its activities in Nigeria are coordinated by Alhaji Olayiwola Onikosi.
YWSI said the Ilaro engagement would bring together members and supporters around what it described as “one heart, one purpose and one spirit,” with the objective of making the visit meaningful to the communities and institutions involved.
The initiative’s publicity material further carries the messages “One Team, One Purpose, One Impact” and “YWSI – Serving, Connecting & Making a Difference.”
The planned engagement also highlights the group’s dual identity as a Yayi-focused support platform and a community-oriented initiative, using outreach and grassroots engagement as part of its activities in the build-up to the 2027 political season.
While the details of YWIS’s donations, beneficiaries, and visiting delegation are targeted at Ilaro Palace and Ogun State General Hospital in Ilaro, as stated in the announcement, the group said the Ilaro program would focus on community connection, goodwill, and humanitarian service.
With the message “Ilaro, YWSI is Coming!”, the initiative said it looks forward to making the planned engagement a success.
