Sporting and non-sporting members of Premier 5-Aside Football Club have come together in Abeokuta, Ogun State, to celebrate one of their standout members, Olushola Adejumo, popularly known as “Marvelous,” in recognition of his birthday and impact on the team.
The celebration was conveyed in a statement issued on Monday by the club’s Board of Trustees (BOT), led by a UK-based Mr. Hakeem Adetoye Adesina, fondly called Yoboro, who described the celebrant as an exceptional footballer and a unifying figure within the team.
Premier 5-Aside FC is made up of energetic and talented youths from diverse professional backgrounds, many of whom are old students of Premier Grammar School, Lafenwa, Abeokuta.





The group regularly converges on weekends for recreational sporting activities, particularly five-a-side football matches and also participates in local tournaments across Abeokuta and neighbouring communities.
In the statement, Marvelous was praised for his outstanding qualities on and off the pitch.
He was described as one of the club’s most reliable strikers, a committed team player and a source of inspiration whose energy and work rate consistently motivate teammates during matches.
Beyond football, the celebrant was also commended for his professional achievements.




Olushola Adejumo is a staff member and Team Lead at MTN, serving in the Sagamu Zone of Ogun State, a role his teammates said reflects his leadership qualities and discipline.

Other members of Premier 5-Aside FC, known by their popular nicknames, Mantero, Popo Snr., Popo Jnr., Westo, Amala, Importa, Olohr, 68, Baba Idris, School-Boi, Pele, Charles, P.A, Suco, Dipson, Afon, among others, also extended warm felicitations to the celebrant.
They described him as an inspiration and an uncommon talent among his peers, encouraging him to continue excelling both in his career and sporting pursuits.
The club concluded by wishing Olushola “Marvelous” Adejumo continued success, good health and greater achievements in the years ahead, as he remains an integral part of the Premier 5-Aside FC family.
