The Ogun State Deputy Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Hon. Abiodun Ogunremi, on Christmas Day hosted party leaders, state executives, stakeholders and supporters from across the state to a colourful 2025 Christmas celebration at his residence in Obantoko, Abeokuta.
The event attracted a broad spectrum of PDP leaders, including members of the State Executive Council, youth leaders, local government party chairmen, secretariat staff and well-wishers, who gathered in a relaxed and festive atmosphere to celebrate the season of goodwill.
Among notable figures present at the event were Hon. Akinfenwa Taiwo, National Ex-Officio of the party; Chief Mrs. Olabosipo Ogunsan, former Ogun State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) boss; Oyejide Sunkanmi, Ogun PDP Youth Leader; Hon. Yussuf Oshunrinde, Abeokuta North Local Government Party Chairman; and Hon. Korede Ogunmola, Obafemi Owode Local Government Party Chairman.
Also in attendance were Hon. Kehinde Odewunmi; Chief Mrs. Temitope Ajibola, Abeokuta North PDP Deputy Chairman; Hon. Wasiu Akinlabi; Alhaji Ganiu Babalola; Hon. Saidi Dada, Abeokuta North PDP Youth Leader; Comrade Lekan Aderinokun, alongside other party leaders and stakeholders from across the state.
Hon. Ogunremi, alongside his wife, Mrs. Ogunremi and other members of his family, warmly received guests and personally ensured that attendees were entertained in high spirits.
The celebration was marked by music, laughter and harmony, with performances by popular one-man band musician, Mr. Dee Highness, adding colour to the occasion.
Speaking during the gathering, Ogunremi expressed deep appreciation to party members and supporters for honouring his invitation and standing firmly with the PDP over the years.
“We are committed to putting smiles on the faces of our people, not only during festivities like this but through consistent service to humanity”, Ogunremi said.
He reaffirmed his confidence in the PDP leadership in Ogun State, assuring members that the party remains focused on delivering purposeful leadership to the people.
“The Ladi Adebutu–led PDP team, under the chairmanship of Hon. Abayomi Tella, will not disappoint the good people of Ogun State when entrusted with leadership in 2027”, he added.
The gathering also served as a platform for renewed bonding among party leaders and supporters, reinforcing unity within the PDP family in Ogun State ahead of future political engagements.
