Vision 2027: Jiboku Olatunde Unveils Agenda for Inclusive Governance in Ogun

Hon. Jiboku Olatunde Olalekan on Thursday unveiled his “Vision 2027” Community Partnership and Development Plan, outlining an ambitious blueprint aimed at transforming Abeokuta South Constituency II ahead of his 2027 Ogun State House of Assembly aspiration.

Described as a people-centred and accountability-driven framework, “Vision 2027” sets out Hon. Jiboku’s commitment to inclusive governance, improved service delivery and sustainable development rooted in collaboration between government institutions and grassroots stakeholders.

Speaking on the core thrust of the plan, Hon. Jiboku emphasised that his mission is anchored on “integrity, competence, compassion and transparent representation that reflects the true yearnings of our people”.

He stressed that public service must return to its foundation as a bridge between citizens and development.

At the centre of the blueprint is a comprehensive focus on Education and Youth Empowerment, including scholarship support for students, skill-acquisition programmes, digital literacy initiatives and partnerships with NGOs and private organisations to create internship and employment pathways for young people.

On Infrastructure and Community Renewal, Hon. Jiboku pledged consistent advocacy for improved roads, upgraded water systems, functional streetlights and strengthened waste-management mechanisms. 

He also announced a proposed “Community Clean & Green” campaign to enhance environmental hygiene across all wards.

His plan for Health and Social Welfare includes periodic free medical outreaches, essential support for primary health centres and enhanced maternal-child health awareness to reduce preventable illnesses.

Women and vulnerable groups form a key pillar of Vision 2027, with commitments to a “Women in Business Micro-Grant Scheme”, increased participation of women in community decision-making and targeted welfare support for widows, orphans and persons with disabilities.

The development roadmap also highlights Governance and Accountability as non-negotiable. 

Hon. Jiboku promises quarterly town-hall meetings, open feedback channels and full transparency in the utilisation of constituency funds. 

“Every kobo must be accounted for”, he stated.

To guarantee impact, Vision 2027 expands its structure through strong Partnerships and Collaboration with traditional rulers, religious bodies, youth and women groups, state agencies, NGOs and international development partners.

On Communication and Civic Engagement, Hon. Jiboku pledged active digital communication, regular ward engagements, local radio participation and civic-education programmes to promote responsible citizenship and political awareness.

While unveiling the blueprint, Hon. Jiboku reassured constituents of his unwavering commitment, saying:


“Together, we can transform this vision into meaningful progress for our collective benefit and for posterity”.
