This Privacy Policy explains what information Premier World News (“we”, “us”) collects when you visit premierworldnews.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. We handle personal data in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.

Information we collect
- Contact form and emails. When you contact us, we receive your name, email address and message. We use them only to reply to you and to handle your enquiry, news tip or correction request.
- Comments. If you comment on a story, we store your name, email address, comment, IP address and browser details. Comments may be checked by Akismet, an automated spam-detection service. An anonymised string from your email address may be sent to the Gravatar service to show your profile picture.
- Technical data. Like most websites, our servers and security tools record basic technical information such as IP address, browser type and pages visited. We use this to keep the site secure and working, and to block abuse.
Advertising and cookies
We show advertisements through Google AdSense to fund our journalism. Google and its partners are third-party vendors that use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites.

Embedded content and sharing
Stories may include embedded content such as videos or social media posts. Embedded content behaves as if you visited the other website, which may collect data about you under its own privacy policy. Our share buttons are simple links; they do not track you until you choose to open WhatsApp, Facebook, X or Telegram.

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers that help us run the site (web hosting, security and spam protection, and Google for advertising), or where the law requires it.
How long we keep data
Comments and their details are kept for as long as the comment is published. Messages sent to us are kept only as long as needed to deal with them. Technical and security logs are kept for a limited period.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Contact us using the details above and we will respond as required by law. You may also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
Children
This site is intended for a general adult audience and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
