#NigeriaDecides2023: Ogun PDP Youth Leader Wins Polling Unit For Atiku, Aderinokun, Coker

As the results of the ongoing 2023 general elections in Nigeria keep dropping, the Ogun state youth leader of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP), Hon Sunkanmi Oyejide – ‘SUCO’ has delivered Onisasa Ward 16, booth 8, Abeokuta North local government for party’s candidates, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, Chief Olumide Aderinokun and Hon Shoyemi Coker respectively.

Gathered from the booth’s presidential score sheet, PDP scored 83 votes, while APC scored 40 votes, which led to victory for PDP’s Alhaji Atiku Abubakar over Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the APC at ‘SUCO’s polling unit.

Also, Chief Olumide Aderinokun, who is the Ogun central senatorial candidate of the PDP won with 74 votes margin, as PDP scored 104 votes to defeat Shuaib Salisu of APC.

In the same trend, the youth leader also deilvered the House of Representatives candidate, Hon. Shoyemi Coker of PDP, scoring 102 votes to defeat Olumide Osoba of the APC’s 32 votes.

Other details of the votes casted in the booth revealed thus:

RESULTS FOR ONISASA WARD 16, BOOTH 8, ABEOKUTA NORTH LOCAL GOVERNMENT, OGUN STATE;

PRESIDENTIAL RESULT:

PDP – 83 votes

APC – 40 votes

LP – 12 votes

ADC – 5 votes

APM – 1 vote

AAC – 1 vote

VOID – 9 votes

SENATORIAL RESULT:

PDP – 104 votes

APC – 30 votes

LP – 4 votes

ADC – 2 votes

VOID – 9 votes

HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES RESULT:

PDP – 102 votes

APC – 32 votes

LP – 7 votes

ADC – 4 votes

VOID – 7 votes

While speaking to our correspondent, the youth leader appreciated the good people of his ward for their determination and support, noting that the feet would not have been possible without them.

He said, “glory be to Allah the creator of the universe, for crowning my efforts”.

“I want to assure the incoming governor of Ogun State, Hon Ladi Adebutu of a better outing come March 11”.

“Special thanks to my crew. This feet won’t have been possible without their unflinching support”.

“To my late father, Hon. Segun Adisa Oyejide, I have made you proud once again with this landslide victory. May your soul continue to rest peacefully. Rest on Dad”, Suco concluded.
