Former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Tunde Lemo, has eulogized President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his 74th birthday, describing him as a visionary leader whose life reflects courage, resilience and an enduring commitment to Nigeria’s development.
In a statement released on Sunday, Lemo praised the President’s political journey from Lagos to the nation’s highest office, noting that it exemplifies decades of strategic leadership and dedication to democratic ideals.
According to him, Tinubu’s 74 years have been defined by purpose, principled politics and sustained efforts at building people and institutions.
“Your Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, from the streets of Lagos to the seat of the nation, your journey has been defined by courage, strategy and an unyielding belief in Nigeria’s promise”, Lemo said.

He emphasized that Tinubu’s leadership style is rooted in impact rather than titles, highlighting his contributions to governance, institution-building and national development.

“Yours has been 74 years of purpose; 74 years of politics with principle and 74 years of building people, institutions and a nation”, he added.
Lemo added that the President’s enduring influence on Nigeria’s political and developmental trajectory remains a source of inspiration to many across the country.
“Through all these, you have taught us that leadership is not about titles, but about impact”, he concluded.
