Peace has returned to the Fayose family after weeks of intense public disputes, as Otunba Emmanuel Oluwayose Fayose stepped in and successfully reconciled the disputing family members.
This development marks a major turnaround in a controversy that had gained national attention and subjected the prominent Ekiti family to public scrutiny.
The crisis, which had escalated across social media platforms in recent weeks, involved several family members, including Isaac Fayose, Bose Fayose, Jomiloju Fayose and Mrs. Fayose, who exchanged accusations and personal grievances online shortly after the 65th birthday celebration of former Ekiti State Governor Peter Ayodele Fayose.
The disputes, which included the release of sensitive family issues, had created a “toxic atmosphere” among supporters and observers on Facebook and other platforms.
Even an earlier emotional video appeal by their mother, Prophetess Victoria Olufunke Fayose, in which she pleaded with prominent Nigerians, including the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, to intervene, failed to calm tensions.
However, peace was restored after Otunba Emmanuel Oluwayose Fayose initiated a private reconciliation process, engaging each side and urging restraint.
In two videos released hours ago, Otunba Fayose appeared with his mother, expressing gratitude and celebrating the resolution of the conflict.
“All is now well with the Fayose family”, he declared, thanking his siblings for choosing unity over prolonged conflict.
He also expressed appreciation to friends, associates and well-meaning Nigerians, who had attempted mediation before, during and after his intervention.
Otunba Fayose confidently stated that the family had “left their differences behind and reunited in love for future progress”.
He affirmed that peace had been fully restored and that the family was now “back together as one”.
Family sources confirmed that the reconciliation was achieved through Otunba Fayose’s direct diplomacy, persistent engagement and commitment to safeguarding the family’s dignity.
Premier World News also reports that; Otunba Emmanuel Oluwayose (Fayose) was a former ADC gubernatorial aspirant, having contested in the November 6, 2025 primary that produced Ambassador Dare Bejide as the party’s flagbearer in Ekiti State.
