Minority Leader of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Hon. Lukman Olalekan Adeleye, has announced the facilitation of constituency development projects worth ₦150 million for Odogbolu State Constituency.
The projects, funded by the Ogun State Government, are designed to improve educational infrastructure, stimulate local commerce and uplift the standard of living within the constituency.
Hon. Adeleye disclosed that the projects were conceived following wide consultations with key stakeholders across all wards in Odogbolu.
Among the approved projects are:
- The construction of a block of three classrooms with integrated shelves at Aiyepe Community High School, Ward 06.
- Another block of three classrooms with shelves at Ibefun/Ilado Comprehensive High School, Ward 09.
- The development of 12-unit open-stall markets in Imosan (Ward 01) and Imodi (Ward 02) aimed at empowering local traders and supporting microeconomic growth.
The lawmaker confirmed that contractors, selected through a competitive bidding process supervised by the State Tender Board, have already been mobilized to commence immediate work on the sites.
Reaffirming his commitment to transparency and accountability, Hon. Adeleye assured constituents that all projects will be completed within schedule and to the highest standard.
He also extended appreciation to Governor Dapo Abiodun, community leaders and stakeholders for their collaboration and support.
“These projects reflect a shared commitment to sustainable development and progress in Odogbolu. I remain fully dedicated to the welfare and prosperity of our people”, he stated.
Hon. Adeleye, a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), continues to receive accolades from constituents for his grassroots-driven approach and dedication to community service.
The projects are expected to significantly enhance educational outcomes, promote local commerce and elevate the overall quality of life in the constituency.
