Ogun PDP Youth Wing Mourns Passing of Alhaja’ Ogunaike

Youth wing of the Ogun State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has vented its sorrow over the death of party stalwart Alhaja Mujidat Ogunaike, who passed away at the age of 83 over the weekend.

In a statement made available to Premier World News on Sunday, the Youth Wing, through the party’s State Youth Leader, Sunkanmi Oyejide, expressed that Alhaja Ogunaike’s passion for the party and her community would be greatly missed.

Premier World News reports that the late Alhaja Mujidat Ogunaike was an in-law of the popular former PDP governorship candidate in Ogun State, Hon. Oladipupo Adebutu; the mother of Adebutu’s wife.

Oyejide emphasized her role as a mentor to many young party members, inspiring them to engage actively in politics and community services.

Speaking further, Oyejide emphasized that,

“Alhaja Ogunaike’s contributions to the party and the community were invaluable”, highlighting her commitment to youth empowerment and social development.

The youth leader further noted that Ogunaike’s leadership style was characterized by her ability to connect with people from all walks of life, fostering unity and collaboration within the party and the broader community.

“Her passion for uplifting the youth and advocating for their rights will be remembered and cherished by all who knew her”, Oyejide said.

“The Ogun State PDP Youth Wing extended their condolences to Ogunaike’s family, friends and all those who were touched by her life and work. They pledged to honor her legacy by continuing her mission of service and dedication to the youth and the community at large”, Oyejide added.

He called on party members and the youth in the State to come together in solidarity, reflecting on Ogunaike’s life and the impact she made, while committing to carry forward her vision for a better future.
