Ogun 2023: Oyenuga-led Coalition of Youths, Students rallies support for Abiodun’s re-election, hails OGD, Omo Iwa, Adegbesan, Daddah

Coalition of Ijebu Youths and Students, led by Comrade Olufemi Oyenuga, also known as ‘Valentino’, under the apex leadership of Hon. Oluwakemi Rasaq Daddah has said that governor Dapo Abiodun deserved another term in office and will be supported for his second term bid.

Valentino, on Saturday evening in Ijebu Ode, noted that – governor Abiodun has been persistent and consistent to the development and success of the State, and remained committed to pursuing laudable projects that addressed the core needs of the people since he has assumed office.

The pioneer President of Students’ Union Government of Abraham Adesanya Polytechnic, Ijebu Igbo also lauded thousands of members of his Coalition for the successful delivery of the winners of National Assembly elections in Ogun East, Otunba Gbenga Daniel, OGD, Olufemi Ogunbanwo, Omo-Iwa and Joseph Folorunsho Adegbesan, JFA respectively, over their victory in the last Saturday polls.

He also hailed and described OGD, Omo-Iwa and JFA’s victory as a ‘”well-deserved reward” for selflessness and love for the downtrodden, while expressing his belief in their wealth of experiences to facilitate great development to the federal constituency.

Speaking to our correspondent, he appreciated Hon. Daddah and former Ijebu Ode local government chairman, for financing, mentoring and guiding the Coalition, and appealed to governor Abiodun to consider him for Commissioner appointment, to compensate his efforts in building and bringing thousands of youths together for APC in Ogun East.

He said, “part of our reasons why we want to support governor Dapo Abiodun for second term is his genuineness to serve and develop the state further. He is doing is best by managing the State resources and accommodating the youths and students across the State with proper integration”

“All his achievements in the area of road construction, rural development, qualitative healthcare, education, agriculture, housing, security and employment are very visible, and for such good works, he deserves our support for second term in office”

“I want to thank our apex leader, Hon. Daddah Rasaq, who has been managing and supporting our Coalition physically, financially and domestically. And in the spirit of solidarity, I want to recommend him to our listening governor for immediate promotion and appointment as a Commissioner because, without him, many of our members and stakeholders would have scattered and gone to work for opposition parties”

“I want to appreciate all our team members in Ijebu for the overwhelming delivery of OGD, Omo-Iwa and Adegbesan in the last National Assembly polls. Our effort was not wasted, they have paid their dues to the grassroots, the winners deserve the victory, and I believe in their experiences to develop our federal constituency”

“I want to appeal to all the stakeholders and members of Coalition once again, to replicate the same gesture on Saturday, March 11 election, for APC’s Abiodun re-election, and for every state assembly candidate under the APC because, it is not over until it is over”

“Going forward, I want our listening governor to kindly respond to our solidarity request of promoting our apex leader, Hon. Daddah to the position of Commissioner or better deal for him within 72hours for further progress”. – Valentino said.

He further attributed the success of the party at the presidential election won by APC’s Bola Ahmed Tinubu to the hard work and peaceful coordination of all members and stakeholders of the party for bringing peace and transparency to the electioneering processes.
